Usage Questions

Does GetMX domain email have an expiration date? Will mailboxes under the domain be lost?

  • You own the domain, so the mailboxes will always be yours. Even if we go out of business, your mailboxes will not be lost.
  • We are only an email service provider. Even if we go out of business, you can migrate to another email service provider.
  • As long as the domain is not lost, the mailboxes will never be lost.

Other Questions

Is the flagship plan’s storage being full related to receiving volume?

  • The flagship plan’s storage is related to email volume, email size, cache, request frequency, and also partly to the client. If the flagship server’s 50 GB storage is full, we recommend clearing the cache. If the email volume is large, you can clear the mailbox with one click or contact customer service for assistance.

How can I export email content from the web client?

  • The GetMX web client does not currently support exporting email content. Please use the export function of a third-party email client instead.

Need email read receipts?

  • GetMX supports read receipts, which are generally used to collect statistics on whether recipients have read emails. No mailboxes will actively send read data, and they may even block requests for read data, because this violates user privacy. The common collection method used by email systems is currently small-image tracking, but almost all email clients block image loading by default.
  • Requesting a read receipt means that after the recipient reads the email, they agree to return data and must click a button before the receipt is sent. The currently supported read receipts are only for the same domain and are supported for internal emails only.
  • Receiving a read receipt does not mean the recipient has read the email. Conversely, not receiving a receipt does not mean the recipient has not read it.

What should I do if I receive advertising emails in bounce messages?

  • These emails use the bounce function and private servers to send large volumes of advertising emails. However, because they are not authorized by the sender through TXT record verification, bounces occur and are returned to the original mailbox. Since the sender is using a private server and has not set up a receiving server (without MX permission, and it would be impossible to set one up), the bounce message is sent directly to your real mailbox. If you open the original email or attachment, it is usually advertising content. This form of ad delivery is common in the email industry and is somewhat similar to fake base stations pushing advertising text messages on mobile devices.
  • Solution: check the bounce content
  • Receiving this kind of email has nothing to do with account theft. They simply want more people to see their ads. Because the sending is not authorized through email DNS records (TXT records), the recipient will reject the email or return a bounce.

Online scams are frequent. When using email, never click links sent by unfamiliar platforms, especially emails impersonating official messages where the image-displayed link and the actual link have been manipulated. If you enter your email password on a scam website, your account has already been stolen. Please change your password immediately.

How can I troubleshoot receiving issues without administrator permissions?

  • Cuiqiu Mail cannot handle this issue. Some mailbox issues require administrator permissions to troubleshoot. For example, interrupted renewal, missing real-name verification, or enabled filters may all cause emails not to be received. If the domain has expired, you need to check in the backend where you purchased the domain.

Can an already registered user still become a subordinate?

New customers using email must register through an invitation link to bind the relationship. If the other party has already completed registration and started using the service, the relationship cannot be bound.
However, there are two ways to become a subordinate:

  1. If a user purchases more than 200, they can apply for agent permissions. Purchasing card codes will also be cheaper. You can give the card code to the other party, and they can recharge with the card code. This is more suitable for software developers who have many subordinate integrations.
  2. The subordinate customer registers a new account through the link. After they make a purchase, commission will also be generated.
