Detailed steps:
Click to view: Receiving DNS Records
Click to view: Sending DNS Records
- You must configure DNS records before you can send and receive emails
- If the domain was previously pointed to another platform, there is a risk that emails cannot be received. Emails not received by GetMX are treated as lost, so you can only contact the sender to resolve the issue
Click the red Delete button
- To prevent accidental domain deletion, only the Free version can be deleted: for the multi-domain paid version, first remove the domain from the domain version; for the single-domain version, wait until the domain expires before deleting it.
- After deleting a domain, the domain and all mailbox contents will be deleted together. Please proceed with caution
- Deleted mailboxes are automatically archived for 1 year (servers will be powered off and backed up offline). After 1 year, they will be permanently cleared. If you need recovery, please contact customer service for paid recovery at $8 per request. Recovery involves risks, so please be careful when deleting
Add a TXT record on the domain purchase platform:
- Record type: TXT
- Record name: find
- Record value: date.getmx.com (for example, 20220514.getmx.com)
Add the above record in the domain purchase admin panel to verify domain ownership
After adding it, contact customer service for verification. Once customer service verifies it, the domain will be removed from the original account and can be added again
- Create catch-all rules to have unlimited email addresses
- Quota for independently created domain mailboxes: Click to view: Quota
- For email pricing, see: https://www.getmx.com/price/
- If it has been expired for a short time, you can
renew at the original price; if it has been expired for a long time, you can redeem it at a higher price - After a domain is fully released, you may not be able to register the same domain again
- If you register a new domain, the suffix may no longer be the same as before
- After expiration, the domain DNS becomes invalid, and the corresponding mailboxes cannot receive emails
